Nicolas Anitsakis

A licensed real estate appraiser and registered right of way agent, Mr. Nicolas Anitsakis brings considerable experience to his work as a Manager, Electric Transmission Services for Contract Land Staff, LLC. With the company since 2007, Nicolas Anitsakis is currently Project Manager for Kelson Energy, LLC, a large 345kV electric transmission project. In his position as project manager, Nicolas Anitsakis coordinates all aspects of the project, including hiring, right of way management, budgeting, and land acquisition. Prior to joining Contract Land Staff, LLC, Nicolas Anitsakis held the position of staff appraiser for Fox & Bubela, Inc. While at Fox & Bubela, Nicolas Anitsakis handled commercial real estate appraisal for a diverse clientele, including major corporations and both local and state government agencies. During his five years with the company, Nicolas Anitsakis completed 150 corridor appraisal assignments that resulted in the successful completion of a number of infrastructure projects, including road and highway widening and several road and highway extensions. Highly attuned to developments in the field of land appraisal, Nicolas Anitsakis is a Chapter 8, Gulf Coast Region member of the International Right of Way Association. Nicolas Anitsakis is also an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute. Before entering the field of real estate appraisal, Nicolas Anitsakis attended Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a degree in finance. Outside of his varied professional endeavors, Nicolas Anitsakis enjoys a number of hobbies. A fan of scuba diving, Nicolas Anitsakis is certified in advanced open water diving by PADI. Mr. Anitsakis frequently dives in the waters of the Caribbean, Hawaii, and the Gulf of Mexico. Besides scuba diving, Nicolas Anitsakis enjoys downhill skiing and photography. A voracious reader, Nicolas Anitsakis particularly enjoys the works of Mark Twain and Michael Crichton, among a variety of other authors.

Kelson Energy, Project Manager for a 96 mile, 345kV, electrical transmission project. Coordinated the opening of the local office and the staffing of agents and administrative personnel for the project. Managed day to day operations of the Project, including survey permitting, title completion and acquisition programs. Responsible for budgeting, scope of work and weekly status reports for client. Planned, directed, and coordinated right of way activities to ensure that the goals of the client are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
